Saving Jobs

You can save jobs you’re interested in. Just sign in to your account and use the heart icon next to any job posting to save it for later.

Applying for Jobs

Applying for Jobs When you find a job, you’re interested in, select the 'Apply' button. This might allow you to apply directly on the site, take you to the employer’s recruitment page, or provide contact details for phone or email applications.

Always check for additional costs, like phone call rates if you’re applying by phone.

Job Application Safety

Never include personal details like bank account information, National Insurance numbers, or your date of birth in your CV, cover letter, or job application. Be cautious if asked for irrelevant information or payment as part of the process.

Formatting and Managing CVs

Job seekers can format their CV into simple, professional templates with ease. Once formatted, you can download your CV and use it in your job applications. You can upload up to 5 CVs on your account, but you can’t create one directly on the site. Ensure your CV highlights your relevant skills, experience, and qualifications, and adjust it for different job applications.

Auto-Match Job Preferences

Set your job preferences to take advantage of the auto-match and apply feature. By setting your desired job type, location, and other preferences, you can receive tailored job matches and apply effortlessly to relevant roles.

Tracking Your Applications

Once you apply for jobs, track your activity for the past 60 days, including jobs applied for, jobs viewed, and searches performed. This is useful for staying organized in your job search.

Handling Scams and Fake Job Offers

Be wary of job scams. Some red flags include:

  • Communication by email only
  • Job offers that seem too easy or offer unrealistic salaries
  • Poor grammar or spelling errors in communications
  • Requests for personal information or money transfers
  • Roles involving financial transactions or repackaging goods

Always research the company before sharing personal details, and trust your instincts. If it seems too good to be true, it probably is.

Scams on WhatsApp

Watch out for scammers impersonating recruiters via WhatsApp. They might reach out with fake job offers to extract personal information or request payments. If you get suspicious messages, don’t engage—report them.
