Job Description
BDS Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Housing Support Worker based in Barrow In Furness.
You will be working with vulnerable young people in a hostel setting helping them with support around housing applications, tenancies and job and education opportunities.
The duties include but are not limited too;
* To complete a support plan with each tenant detailing all elements of support required in order for their tenancy to be maintained – including any signposting required. This must be reviewed on a regular basis.
* To work alongside an individual in understanding how best to provide support through a thorough risk assessment process to highlight any risks to themselves, their tenancy or others – this must be reviewed on a regular basis.
* To provide information, advice and guidance to enable tenants to understand their responsibilities and support them to develop effective strategies to manage those responsibilities.
This is a full time role, 37.5 hours per week, temp ongoing, good chance of going perm for the right person
9am - 5pm Monday- Friday
Rate Of Pay- £11.44 Per Hour
Full UK Drivers License for this role is essential.
