Prospero Teaching are looking for a talented Year 6 booster teacher to join our client Primary School based in Thornhill. This is a fixed-term position up until the end of the academic year . Your hard work, motivation, and positivity will play a crucial role in raising aspirations and ensuring the best possible outcomes for the students.
We're seeking an experienced Year 6 teacher who excels in fostering academic, emotional, and social development. Your excellent interpersonal skills, deep knowledge of the Key Stage 2 curriculum-especially upper Key Stage and ability to identify and bridge gaps in pupils' knowledge are essential. Above all, we're looking for someone who is passionate, driven, and ready to go the extra mile for our pupils.
CONTRACT/POSITION DETAILS
Location: Thornhill
Position: Year 6 Booster Teacher
Type of work: Class Teacher, including planning, preparation, marking, and attending parents' evenings
Contract start date: ASAP
Contract type: Fixed Term (Until Summer 2025)
Full time/part time: Part Time (mornings only) and Full time options available
Rate of pay: Main Payscale / Upper Payscale
Hours: 8:30 am to 12:00 pm or 8:30 am to 4:00 pm, Monday to Friday (term time only)EXPERIENCE, TRAINING, AND QUALIFICATIONS
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
Minimum of 1 year's experience teaching year 6
Up-to-date Safeguarding training completed within the last yearTO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:
Have the Right to Work in the UK
Hold an enhanced DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to apply for one
Provide two professional child-related references covering at least the last two yearsADDITIONAL INFORMATION
