Job Description
My busy international clients are currently seeking a highly experienced and trained X-Ray NDT Inspector for their large modern facility in Nottinghamshire.
The successful candidate will:
* To work as part of a team on a 3-shift rotation to contribute to their business objective of the delivery of outlet guide vane components to their customers on-time and in full
* Maintaining all safety requirements highlighted within local quality procedures
* Be responsible for the loading and running of a manual penetrant process line and subsequent component sentencing in accordance with defined acceptance criteria
* To raise non-conformance issues and help with problem solving
* Ensure a clean and safe environment at all times
It is essential that the successful candidate:
* To have BSEN4179 minimum level 2 dye penetrant inspection
* To have good I.T. skills/general literacy
It is desirable that the successful candidate:
* To be able to demonstrate a general understanding of high-volume manufacturing whilst maintaining the necessary quality standards
Hours of work:
They operate Monday to Friday on a 3 shift pattern:
* Mornings (06:00 - 14:12)
* Afters (13:48 - 21:30 with a Friday 19:00 finish)
* Nights (21:00 - 06:15, 4 shifts Mo-Th)
Contract to cover 37 hours per week, Temp to Perm for the right candidate after initial qualifying period.
