Workshop Technician Salary: £25,000 - £30,000 Location: Whitstable, Kent Hours: Monday to Thursday: 08:00am to 16:30pm and Friday 08:00am to 13:30pm Benefits: Group Personal Pension Plan, Employee Assistance Programme, Cycle to Work Scheme, Subsidised Restaurant Facility, Free Onsite Parking   We are looking for Workshop Technicians for our Aerospace and Defence manufacturing client, who have any of the following skills. Jigging/Racking Spray painting Shot Blasting Handling hazardous chemicals Surface Grinding Metal Polishing/Finishing  Workshop Technician Tasks: Carry out plating and finishing processes to company standards. Identify and apply correct jigging methods for a range of parts or wiring/barrelling methods. Handle chemicals safely in accordance with plating department procedures. Use x-ray spectrometer and other quality monitoring equipment to measure plating thickness. Visually inspect work to ensure matches quality agreement    Workshop Technician Ideal Experience: Ability to read and follow detailed documentation. Plating or finishing processes. Safe handling practices for chemicals.
