Workshop Technician
We are GSF Stairs, a renowned family run designer, manufacturer and installer of specialist and bespoke staircases across the South of the UK.
Our lovely workshop is based in the Hampshire countryside at Pensdell Farm, Basingstoke, on the Hampshire, Surrey, and Berkshire borders. We are a small family joinery business that has been trading since 1992. We are dedicated to the delivery of the highest quality custom staircases tailored to the individual needs and style preferences of our clients.
The business is growing, and the team is further expanding, and we are looking for someone to come and join us to continue to provide high quality service and expertise to our customers.
Weekly tasks will include:
Main task will be machining of parts and assembly of stairs (training given if needed)
Loading, unloading van and doing deliveries typically 1 – 2 per week locally
On occasion going to help the fitters with installation (no experience needed)
Accepting deliveries and putting stock away (forklift experience would help but training can be given)
Workshop and machine maintenance ensuring workshop is clean and safe
We are a small company so mucking in is something we all do.
To be eligible for this role, you must have:
* A good understanding of woodworking and power tools usage in a safe manner.
* Ability to read, understand and use measurements accurately.
* Full clean UK driving license.

In return we offer:
* Salary: £28,000 - £32,000 pa
* Full-time, Permanent 7:30am – 4:00pm
