Job Role: Workshop Foreman (Plant) Location: Bournemouth, Dorset  Salary: £33,000-£35,000 base salary  Hours: Monday-Friday 07.00-16.30 + Overtime @ 1.5x Job Type: Full time, Permanent   The Client: Interaction Technical have partnered with a well-established and National plant hire firm to support the growth of their team. Our client, who have been established for over 50 years, have reached a stage of growth where they are looking to onboard & train engineers from either a plant, HGV, Automotive or Agricultural background to the team. They offer a comprehensive training scheme alongside relative internal progression routes.   The package: 22 days Annual Leave + Public Holidays / Increasing by 1 day for every year of service (25 overall) All overtime over 8 hours per day is paid at 1.5x Company Vehicle Salary Sacrifice Scheme for an addition 5 days annual leave per annum  Full training & development with a focus on internal progression, route is as follows: (Workshop/Mobile Engineer > Lead Engineer / Foreman > Hiring Manager > Site Manager > Regional Manager) All of the above promotions accompany substantial increases in salary and benefits.    The Responsibilities: Organise Mobile and workshop based engineers, analysing workload and designate jobs. Order parts needed for the workshop, manage elements of stock and liaise Collaborate with clients to understand their specific requirements and provide recommendations. Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure optimal equipment performance.  Offer training and support to clients' staff on machinery operation and maintenance best practices. Keep detailed records of service activities, parts used, and work completed for accurate reporting. Communicate effectively with the in-house engineering team to provide feedback and improve product performance. The Requirements: Previous experience working in the Plant, Automotive, HGV or Agricultural industry is a leadership / senior position. Previous experience as an engineer within  (Plant, Material Handling, Automotive) Experience working on engines would be advantageous Electrical and/or Mechanical fault finding, repair & service experience Relevant qualifications NVQ or City and Guilds in mechanical/electrical engineering (advantageous) Full UK Drivers License Interaction Recruitment have specialist consultants across the majority of industries within the UK, including but not limited to, Finance & IT, Technical & Engineering, Industrial, Commercial and Hospitality.
