Workshop Fitter/Repairer – Walsall
Company Brief
PACTION Ltd is a national support provider to the waste and recycling industry and private enterprises. Our core business attribute is a fleet of national field engineers strategically located to provide key local support. The field engineers have an exceptional first time fix rate aided by the fully stocked vehicles and can provide reactive call outs and Planned Preventative Maintenance visits 7 days a week.
We also specialise in the repair of TKT boxes of customer owned assets and operate an extensive workshop in Walsall to aid the repair of nationwide assets with workshop based tools and stock of parts.
The boxes are delivered to the Walsall workshop whereby the applicant will be expected to unload the boxes and store prior to repair. Unrepaired boxes are brought into the workshop via FLT and worked on until repaired. Repaired boxes are stored until customer demand.
Job Brief
* Experienced fitter/repairer needed to operate from Walsall workshop.
* Fork lift truck licence.
* Experience in using various hand tools, has mechanical knowledge, welding experience, stock management, customer management skills.
* Will carry out effective repairs to broken TKT boxes so the equipment can be put back in to operation asap.
* Will need a good sense of general awareness and health and safety awareness.
* Job specific tools will be provided.
* Salary is negotiable pending experience.
* Working hours are from 6am – 3pm Monday – Thursday, 6am - 12:30pm Fridays.
* Working as part of a small team.
* Daily work will be managed by a site senior chargehand.
