Due to continued growth and expansion, my client who is based in Chesterfield have an immediate need for UPVC Windows & Doors Estimator and Sales Manager to join their team in the Windows, Doors and Conservatories division working on both commercial and domestic properties, including new build and refurbishment.
The Role / Skills / Experience required:
• In depth experience using Logikal, producing estimation sheets & quotes
• Knowledge of Senior Architectural Systems, Metal Technology systems preferred
• Knowledge of fabrication, production, glass and installation is essential
• The ability to accurately ‘take-off’ drawings and specifications
• Produce high value tenders covering all aspects of curtain walling, windows and doors.
• Ensuring quotations are submitted professionally and accurately to reflect and demonstrate what has been included.
• Ability to maintain & develop professional relationships with clients.
• Work with the design and fabrication teams on project handovers and regular production meetings
• You should be confident, reliable and a team player.
• Excellent time management and negotiating skill are required
• You will require a positive "can do" attitude..
• Ability to work to strict often tight timescales / deadlines.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to "think outside the box".
• Self-motivated with the drive and enthusiasm to succeed
• Experience in the construction industry is a necessity to understand construction tender drawings.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft word, Excel
• Attend tender sales review meetings
Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday – Thursday 8am-5pm & Friday 8am-2:30pm.
