Job Description
Are you experienced in managing and coordinating a small team of warehouse associates to ensure efficient and effective order processing, inventory management, and despatch?
This leading, expanding, and established business – based in Dartford, Kent, is seeking to employ dynamic, forward thinking Fulfilment Centre Team Leader to play a key role in maintaining high standards of performance, safety, and customer satisfaction.
The successful candidate will focus on the day to day operational requirements, while planning ahead to ensure a consistently high standard of delivery.
This exciting opportunity is being offered on a full time, permanent basis and the core working hours are 07.30 to 16.30, Monday to Friday.
Key Responsibilities
* Supervise, train, and motivate a team of warehouse associates
* Ensure timely and accurate processing of customer orders
* Monitor and manage inventory levels to prevent stockouts and overstock situations
* Implement and maintain safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment
* Collaborate with other departments to streamline operations and improve efficiency
* Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to team members
* Resolve any issues or discrepancies related to order fulfilment or inventory management
* Prepare and analyze reports on operational performance and key metrics
Key Requirements and Qualifications
* Proven experience as a team leader or supervisor in a warehouse or fulfilment centre environment
* Strong leadership and organizational skills
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
* Proficient in using warehouse management systems and other relevant software
* Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in a warehouse setting
* Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
* Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays, as needed
