Job Description
We’re looking for an experienced Warehouse Supervisor to support our busy operations on the Glossop/Tameside border. This role involves overseeing stock movement, order fulfilment, and dispatch while maintaining high standards in efficiency, safety, and team development. About You:
* Proven leader and team player that can manage a diverse team within a warehouse setting.
* Passionate about coaching and performance management to achieve goals.
* Proactive, resourceful and committed to safety.
* Can deliver clear instructions and demonstrate high standards across the shift.
* Flexible and dedicated to adapting to changing shift demands.
Key Skills:
* Excellent communication and listening abilities
* Sets high performance, people, and housekeeping standards
* Proficient in Microsoft systems (Excel, Outlook, Word)
* Strong understanding of Health & Safety principles
* Familiar with day-to-day warehouse operations
* Capable of managing multiple tasks and meeting deadlines
Main Responsibilities Include:
* Ensure accurate and timely receipt, dispatch, and processing of orders.
* Maintain efficient storage organisation and conduct regular inventory counts.
* Ensure safety rules are followed and oversee equipment maintenance to keep it working efficiently.
* Supervise up to 15 direct reports
* Guide and help warehouse colleagues to create a friendly, high performing workplace.
* Coach and regularly review performance to improve skills and job performance.
Salary: £30,800 - £34,100 (Dependent on Experience + Includes Shift Allowance), Overtime
Contract: Full Time, Permanent, 37.50 hours per week
Onsite Working:
8 Hour rotating shift pattern, need to be flexible for weekend shifts if needed
