Job Description

Job Title: Warehouse Operative Location: Stafford park, Telford Salary: £11.50 per hour Are you looking for a rewarding Warehouse role in a fast-paced environment? Our client is seeking Warehouse Operatives to join their team in Stafford park, Telford. Key Responsibilities - Ensure all goods are picked correctly according to the order displayed on the hand-held scanner. Ensure all goods quantities are correct according to the order displayed on the computer system and that all items match the delivery note. Ensure all goods are packed correctly, ensuring safe transit to the customer to the correct address according to the computer system. Ensure that all goods loaded or unloaded with external carriers, match the relevant paperwork/delivery notes. Storing and rotating stock according to established procedures. Reporting any damaged or missing goods to Warehouse Manager. Keeping the warehouse environment clean and tidy and maintaining equipment. Follow workplace health and safety rules at all times. Ensure efficient operations by adhering to operational procedures, rules, and schedules. Assist with warehouse inventory controls, using a hand-held scanner. Treat stock with care at all times. Ad-hoc warehouse duties could include cardboard shredding, box building, pallet wrapping, picking stock, packing stock, stock put away, stock audits. What We Offer: Hourly rate from £11.50 Ongoing, full-time positions Full training provided A supportive team environment Requirements: Previous warehouse experience is beneficial but not essential Speed and accuracy when picking and packing. Good attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment Strong work ethic and reliability Working Hours: Monday to Friday - working between 8am - 5pm. Potential for overtime.
