Job Description
Warehouse Operative
£12.28 Per Hour Plus Overtime at Time and Half and Double time.
Warehouse Operative required for immediate start on a temporary to permanent basis in St Ives for a large manufacturing company.
Main duties for the Warehouse Operative:
* You would be responsible for working at the end of the line, putting various products into boxes
* Using a forklift (Up to date licence ideal, however inhouse licence can be arranged)
* Picking, packing & labelling of products
* Palletising goods
* Moving boxes along the line
* Putting stock away & general housekeeping
* Use of some hand ran machinery
* Quality control
* Completing all the necessary paperwork
Skills required for the Warehouse Operative:
* Forklift licence and used to a forklift
* Good communication skills
* Working as part of a team
* High attention to detail
Hours of work for the Warehouse Operative:
* Monday to Thursday 8.00am – 5.00pm and Friday 8.00am – 1.30pm, 37.5 hours per week.
