Warehouse / Factory Operative required for a dynamic and rapidly expanding manufacturing business in Fakenham.
About the Job
Our Client a rapidly growing technical plastics manufacturer based in Fakenham and is a global supplier of technical and medical plastic components.
A position has arisen for a Warehouse / Factory Operative within their production team. You will work in all areas of the factory and do a variety of tasks including loading and filling hoppers, removal of waste products and keeping the loading bay clean and tidy.
As an ideal candidate you must be practically minded, like working in a ‘hands on’ environment, have a good attention to detail and awareness of safety standards. On the job training will be given so a willingness to learn and develop new skills is essential. Being a team player is also key as you will be required to work with all departments in the factory to ensure orders are completed on time and all tasks meet with required standards.
Required skills for this Warehouse / Factory Operative role:
* Openness to develop & learn new skills within a factory environment
* Good communication skills, self-confidence and an ability to work to deadlines
* Adherence to health and safety regulations
* Comfortable working in a fast paced, physical role
* Teamwork and happy to help others
* Experience operating a fork lift truck would be an advantage but not essential as training will be provided

Rewards & Benefits:
* Basic salary £12 - £12.80 per hour
* 22 days holiday plus Bank Holidays
* 4 day working week

Usual working week is 36 hours over 4 days - Mon – Thurs: 07:30 – 17:00
