Job Description
Apex Resources urgently require experienced warehouse operators for their manufacturing client in Inchinnan. As a Warehouse Operative, you will be essential in managing the flow of materials and ensuring efficient warehouse operations. Reporting to the Warehouse Manager, you will utilize your core skills in materials handling and warehouse experience to perform tasks such as stocking, picking & packing, and shipping & receiving. Your premium skills in forklift operation and familiarity with warehouse management systems will enhance productivity. Additionally, your relevant skills in heavy lifting and mechanical knowledge will contribute to a safe and organized work environment, supporting the overall goals of logistics team.
Experience of working in a fast paced, target driven warehouse environment is essential for this role.
The ideal candidate/s should have:
· Excellent hand/eye co-ordination.
· Experience in working in a fast-paced environment.
· Picking, packing, and shipping customer orders.
· Adhering to health & safety requirements and high-quality standards.
· Standing and walking for long periods.
· Lifting and moving potentially heavy parts/ products.
· Comfortable in lifting and bending.
The successful candidates will be responsible for all aspects including-
· Stock location and rotation
· Stock movement
· Order Picking
· Stock check and cycle counts
· General warehouse duties
This role is long term temporary ongoing with the potential of full time for the right candidate paid weekly at £12.63 per hour
The working rota is ES/BS
Week 1 - Monday - Friday 6am-2pm
Week 2 - Monday - Thursday 2pm-Midnight
