Location: Ashford
Basic Salary: up to £17 per hour
Hours: 45.5 hour week Monday - Friday
Job Description:
Our client is looking for a talented and efficient Vehicle Paint Prepper / Paint Prep Technician / Paint Prepper / Car Prepper to join their team. You will be preparing damaged vehicles in line with the manufacturers' specifications, ready for repair.
As an experienced Vehicle Paint Prepper / Prep Paint Technician / Paint Prepper / Car Prepper, you will be responsible for:
Surface preparation, filling, sanding and cleaning surfaces
Unpacking, handling and preparing parts prior to paint
Minor Filler Jobs
Prepare and clean panels for priming.
Priming
Prepare Vehicles for paint
Polishing
Qualifications / Skills for Vehicle Prepper / Prep Technician / Prepper / Car Prepper:
You will have previous experience preparing cars for paining, ideally from an accident repair background, with a high attention to detail and working to high standards.
You will be able to work safely under pressure and be able to plan and manage your workload effectively.
