Job Description
We are currently seeking an experienced and reliable Van Driver/Warehouse Operative to join our team based in Peterlee. Deliveries will involve furniture goods to both commercial and residential locations. You will play a key role in our logistics department and ensure that our customers receive their goods in a timely and efficient manner. The delivery locations can be anywhere in up to 10 drops per shift.
Key Responsibilities: -
* Delivering palletised goods to various locations around the north of england
* Loading and unloading goods safely and in a timely manner
* Maintaining accurate records of deliveries and collections
* Ensuring compliance with all health and safety regulations
* Warehouse Management - Loading, Booking goods in & Picking Stock.
* Learning to build specific equipment with use of hand tools (Training Provided)
Requirements: -
* Must hold a valid UK driving license with a Category B entitlement
* Previous experience driving a Van for palletised goods delivery -
* Strong communication and customer service skills -
* Good attention to detail and time management skills We offer competitive pay rates of £11.44 per hour with overtime available and paid at £17.16.
