Job Description
We are looking for experienced drivers who are reliable and trustworthy.
Job Duties
* Delivering to room of choice.
* Package removals and assembly.
* Lifting and loading safely avoiding the products touching the ground.
* Two person delivery
* Driving company vehicle in safe manner – reporting any defects to management immediately.
* Keeping regular contact with the transport office.
* Delivering excellent customer service to customers.
* Taking care within customer properties.
* Using hand and power tools where required.
* Completing paperwork and ensuring all documents are returned to the office.
* Loading vehicles with your mate ready for delivery.
* Following pre planned routes and advising on any traffic information to customer.
Pay
£12.05 per hour (paid weekly)
06:00am starts typically a 10-11 hour day
Requirements
* Valid UK driving licence.
* Previous van driving experience.
* Physically fit, role requires manual handling.
* No more than 6 points on licence, no IN, DR, DDs.
* Over 21 due to insurance purposes.
* Proven experience as a van driver or delivery driver
* Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing
Terms: Temp - Perm
Pay: £12.05 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
Schedule:
* 10 hour shift
* Day shift
* Monday to Friday
Experience:
* Van driver: 1 year (preferred)
* Manual handling: 1 year (preferred)
* Delivery driver experience: 1 year (preferred)Before You Apply
