Job Description

We are looking for an Underwriting Risk Analyst. Join our client, a leading player in the pet health services and insurance industry, as they aim to secure the coveted position of the UK's #1 Pet Insurer. What You Can Expect * Location – Borehamwood * Salary – £55,000 * Work type – Permanent Main Responsibilities as an Underwriting Risk Analyst * Define and refine KPIs to monitor risks, ensure robust processes, and flag deviations using automated controls. * Perform daily monitoring of loss ratios, business mix, retention, and pricing to meet expected outcomes. * Analyse performance, identify deviations, and collaborate with teams to implement corrective actions. * Maintain governance documentation, assist with pricing audits, and contribute to committee discussions. * Deliver excellent customer outcomes by ensuring high standards of care and enabling informed decisions.
