UK Tax Analyst
Cantello Tayler Recruitment are currently recruiting for a UK Tax Analyst to join our client based in Putney.
The key responsibilities for the UK Tax Analyst will be:
Preparation of the corporation tax computations and returns for UK entity submissions ensuring that all relief's and allowances have been claimed
Prepare the tax calculations and disclosures for audited financial statements
Prepare CIR calculations, PSA calculations and support with TP calculations and documentation
Assist with various other direct tax compliance e.g. SAO filings, Pillar 2, CBCR, JCFC reporting and Tax Strategy
Prepare quarterly reporting of tax charge with supporting tax packs for UK entities, along with posting the relevant UK entity tax journals to SAP
Preparation of bi-annual forecast of current year tax charge & annual plan of future tax charge, with supporting tax packs for UK entities.
You will assist with JSOX compliance for UK Direct Tax.
Assist the UK Tax Manager in correspondence with UK HMRC, including residency certificates and enquiries.
Assist with support to the wider business by researching and liaising with external service providers on tax advisory matters and ad hoc tax queries.
The UK Tax Analyst will have:
Accounting qualification (AAT, ACCA or ACA), corporate tax (CTA) desirable
Qualified in practice (compliance background), first or second move into industry.
Some advisory experience beneficial.
Understanding of SAP, excellent using Alphatax, very good knowledge of Microsoft Office suite (especially Excel)This role is a temporary position for 9 months initially and the successful candidate must be able to start immediately.
