Our client, a highly regarded, independent, family-run flexible packaging business from Spain, is seeking a UK Business Development Manager to spearhead their growth in the UK markets. With over 20 years of expertise in packaging for fresh produce, they have expanded their portfolio to include dry grocery, pet food, sweets, snacks, meats, frozen goods, cleaning materials, and fertilisers. Their reputation for swift response times, adaptability, and high-quality products sets them apart from larger competitors constrained by lead and delivery times.
The Opportunity
Due to ongoing growth and success across Europe, our client is now looking to establish a stronger presence in the UK. As the UK Business Development Manager, you will play a pivotal role in:
* Business Development: Engaging in calls, emails, client visits, and attending key trade events to increase awareness of the brand and secure new business.
* Account Management: Overseeing and developing existing accounts, ensuring they continue to receive excellent service and innovative packaging solutions.
* Market Expansion: Identifying new opportunities and fostering relationships with both major retailers and independent businesses in the UK.
* Cross-Border Collaboration: Liaising with the Spanish headquarters to ensure alignment and effective communication.
What We Are Looking For
The ideal candidate will be a proactive and enthusiastic professional with the following attributes:
* Drive and Initiative: A self-starter who is motivated to achieve ambitious targets and deliver results.
* Language Skills: Fluency in Spanish is highly desirable, or a strong willingness to learn the language.
