Job Description
We are currently recruiting a number of Aerospace Trimmers / Upholsterers to work for a client in Oxfordshire. The ideal candidate will have leather or fabric trimming experience, ideally within a technical industry such as Aviation or Automotive, although other industry sectors will be considered.
We have permanent and contract positions available, with plenty of overtime available.
Description
Reporting to the Production Manager, you will be a key member of the team. You will learn and gain the skills required to manufacture quality goods, in line with the companies CAA / EASA approvals, and to the customers satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
* Trimming leather and fabric flat panels.
* Understanding and interpreting patterns for aircraft seat cushions and backs.
* Fabricating and cutting of foams.
* Cuttting fabrics accurately.
* Use of spray booth (adhesives not paint)
* Communicating effectively & professionally with colleagues.
Skills & Experience
* Aircraft cabin interior experience (desirable but not essential).
* Excellent communication skills, verbal & written.
* Team player, enthusiastic with a positive ‘can do’ attitude.
* Ability to work under pressureBefore You Apply
