Triage Co-ordinator / Wellbeing Navigator
Covering Salford, Manchester & Wigan
£26,000
Full Time, Temporary (until March 2025)
The Role:
We are recruiting for a Triage Co-ordinator / Wellbeing Navigator who will engage with local communities to identify people who need help overcoming barriers that may prevent them from gaining work or pursuing their ambitions. You will proactively engage with referral organisations including GP Surgeries, Charities etc. to expand the service offer to a wider audience.
Duties:
You will work within the community to promote the service to customers from all backgrounds, including those who speak community languages (Urdu, Arabic, Bengali, Gujarati, Somali, or Tigrinya).
You will support customers to understand the benefits of the programme, which will help to increase their confidence and overcome personal barriers to life, learning, and employment.
You will signpost interested customers to the programme and arrange for a meeting with their key worker, who will then provide one-to-one support.
Required Skills:
You will have strong verbal and written communication skills, and ideally, you will speak additional languages.
You will have a good understanding of the Salford, Manchester, and Wigan regions, able to build rapport with local residents, and empathize with their individual circumstances.

Due to the nature of this role, you will hold a driving licence and have access to your own vehicle, you will also be required to complete an online Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.
