Job Description

Transport Planner Location: Halesowen Salary: £25,000 - £28,000 (DOE) Are you a Transport Planner/Administrator with a background in General Haulage Operations? Are you looking to advance your career for an established and highly regarded Logistics Company? This role could be excellent for you! Shifts: Monday - Friday (6am - 3pm) - Flexibility Available Package Benefits: 22 days annual holiday + banks - rising to 30 days + banks with service. Pension Scheme. Annual Pay Rises. Liaise with new and existing customers. Meet transport legislation commitment. Monitor fleet maintenance requirements and liaise with drivers. Daily input of KPI's, delivery and collection issues, preparing paperwork.Requirements: Previous Transport Planning Experience. Previous experience working for a UK based Freight Forwarder/Road Transport Company or Shipping Line. Previous experience with General Haulage Knowledge of the WTD, Drivers Hours, Tachograph and Transport legislation would be beneficial.
