Job Description
Our client is one of the leading transport businesses in their field, Due to massive growth they are now looking to add a further transport planner to their team.

Monday – Friday only
The Role
* Plan and Coordinate Transport Operations: Use your expertise to schedule routes, allocate resources, and ensure efficient delivery of goods
* Work with Transport Management Software: Experience with planning and scheduling software is essential to streamline operations and maintain accuracy
* Driver Management: supporting drivers, ensuring they comply with current legislation and high company standards
* Problem Solving: Quickly and effectively handle any logistical challenges to keep operations running smoothly and at optimum levels.
* Customer and Stakeholder Communication: Liaise with customers, suppliers, and internal teams to provide first class service and resolve issues promptly.
Requirements:
* Transport Planning Expertise: Experience in transport planning and scheduling is essential
* Fleet are planned as trampers, due to the wide customer base who have multiple requirements. Planning experience in this environment would be highly advantageous.
* Tech-Savvy: Proficiency in using transport management/planning software
* Our clients’ contracts are based on performance measures, which must be hit, but there are earnings targets which must be exceeded to planning efficiency and rateBefore You Apply
