Transport Coordinator
Colnbrook, Heathrow
Seeking a highly motivated and adaptable Transport Coordinator to join our clients team in Colnbrook, Heathrow. The ideal candidate will possess a high level of initiative and be able to thrive under pressure. This role requires someone who is not set in their ways and is open to learning new systems and processes.
Key Responsibilities:
Coordinate and manage the daily transport operations.
Communicate effectively with drivers and address any issues that arise.
Ensure compliance with all relevant transport regulations and company policies.
Monitor and manage vehicle usage and freight requirements.
Maintain accurate records and documentation.
Provide excellent customer service and maintain a professional telephone manner.
Key Requirements:
High level of initiative and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work well under pressure and handle challenging situations.
Resilience and the ability to manage difficult interactions with drivers.
Openness to learning new systems and adapting to change.
Basic understanding of vehicle use and freight requirements.
Excellent communication skills, particularly over the phone.
Salary: £30,000 per annum
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM
