Job Description
Our client, a well-established organisation in the transport and logistics sector, is looking for a Transport Coordinator to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity for an organised and proactive individual to play a key role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the transport department.

Location: Cheltenham
Employment Type: Full-time, Monday – Friday
Hours: 09:00 to 17:30
Salary: £27,370 per annum
Holiday: 20 days + Bank Holidays

Long Service and Performance based bonusAs a Transport Coordinator, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily activities of drivers, maintaining service levels, and ensuring compliance with transport regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
Coordinating and managing driver routes and schedules
Monitoring transport systems and resolving operational issues
Ensuring drivers meet safety, uniform, and service standards
Reviewing telematics data and liaising with driver trainers
Handling transport-related casework and customer queries
Assisting with accident investigations and covering for the Transport Manager when required
Skills & Abilities:
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Strong organisational skills and ability to multitask
Proficiency with transport management software and general IT skillsThe Ideal Candidate:
Previous experience in a fast-paced transport operation
Strong understanding of route optimisation and driver management
Understanding of EU & GB domestic driving hours regulations
