Aspion are currently recruiting on behalf of a leading manufacturer at the forefront of digital printing. They produce high-quality printed materials for a range of industries and pride ourselves on our innovation, precision, and efficiency.
They are looking for an enthusiastic and ambitious Trainee Print Assistant to join their Production Team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a recent graduate who is eager to develop a career in digital printing. While industry knowledge is beneficial, full training will be provided.
The Role:
As a Trainee Print Assistant, you will play a key role in the production team, supporting the Lead Printer with operating the Flexographic printing machine and ensuring the smooth running of the print process. You will receive hands-on training and work alongside experienced professionals, gaining valuable industry experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in the setup, operation, and maintenance of digital printing equipment
Monitor print quality and ensure all products meet customer specifications
Support the team with material preparation, stock management, and workflowcoordination
Learn and apply industry standards in color management and finishing techniques
Identify and troubleshoot minor machine issues, escalating when needed
Maintain a clean and organized production workspace
Work collaboratively with colleagues to meet production deadlines and efficiencytargets
Shift Patterns:
You will be working a continental shift pattern of 4 days followed by 3 nights and then rotating the following week.
Skills/Experience:
A recent graduate in Print, Graphic Design, Manufacturing, or a related field (preferred but not essential)
A genuine interest in digital printing technology and manufacturing processes
Strong attention to detail and a proactive problem-solving mindset
Excellent teamwork and communication skills
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced production environment
Basic knowledge of digital printing processes (an advantage, but not essential—full training provided!)
