Trailer Technician
Salary: £44,(Apply online only) - £54,(Apply online only) per annum
Location: Southampton
Job Type: Permanent, Full-Time
Hours: Monday to Friday, with overtime available
Benefits: 25 days holiday + 8 bank holidays (option to buy 4 more), private healthcare, pension, life cover, income protection, retail vouchers.
The Role:
We're hiring an experienced Trailer Technician to join a busy workshop in Southampton. You'll carry out trailer servicing, diagnostics, and repairs, working with EBS systems and supporting a safe, efficient operation.
Key Duties:
Service and repair HGV trailers
Diagnose faults (HALDEX, WABCO, Knorr-Bremse)
Complete compliance and safety checks
Requirements:
Experience with trailers or HGVs
NVQ Level 3 / City & Guilds in vehicle maintenance
Strong mechanical and diagnostic skills
Desirable:
Class 1 licence
IRTEC certified
Welding experience
Knowledge of tail lifts, BPW, SAF or JOST axles
