Toolmaker Tooling Engineer Haydock £35,000 to £45,000 Dependent on Experience + Holidays + Banks Holidays + Pension + Company Benefits 06:00 to 14:00 and 10:00 to 18:00 Rotating ARE YOU AN EXPERIENCED TOOLMAKER OR TOOLING ENGINEER FROM A PLASTICS MANUFACTURING BACKGROUND SEEKING A NEW OPPORTUNITY WITH A GROWING BUSINESS? The role of Toolmaker Tooling Engineer will be suited to experienced toolmakers from ANY plastics manufacturing background. Ideally candidates will have experience in a thermoforming environment but toolmakers with exposure in a blow moulding, injection mould or extrusion environment will all be considered. Toolmakers will ideally have experience programming on Heidenhein controls. Working in support of production and general management you will be responsible for running multiple tooling projects concurrently in a busy production environment with regular tooling changes for a vast product range. You will work on tooling design and development to customer requirements on RPET based packaging solutions, mainly to clients within the food industry. You will run tooling trials and product trials and develop tooling improvements to aid in continuous improvements to production and reduced non conformity and waste. The company work in conjunction with some of the UK’s biggest FMCG retailers and offer long term secure and progressive employment to the successful candidate. Toolmaker Tooling Engineer * Run multiple tooling design and development project for thermoforming based packaging manufacturing machines * Run tooling and product trials * Work on a continuous improvement basis to drive overall production output by optimizing tooling efficiency and reduction in waste/non conformity
