Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and dynamic Tooling Design-based Research Engineer to join our team on a contract basis. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge work in the composites industry, supporting key projects with technical expertise and innovative solutions. Key Responsibilities: Perform technical engineering tasks independently for complex and non-complex projects. Conduct literature surveys and provide technical direction based on NCC and industry best practices. Develop engineering capabilities aligned with technology roadmaps. Solve complex, non-routine tasks and support project requirements. Provide technical guidance to Research Engineers (REs). Review and propose innovative technical solutions, with a focus on process and capability improvements. Construct project proposals and review technical documents. Essential Requirements: Experience in tooling design for composite processing (thermoplastic and thermoset). Proficiency in CATIA and Teamcenter. Strong understanding of Design for Manufacturing principles. We Are Looking For: Candidates at Associate to Advanced Research Engineer levels who possess a strong track record in tooling design and composite processing. A proactive problem solver with a passion for advancing engineering capabilities in the field. A collaborative team player with the ability to work autonomously when required.
