Our Client is seeking a QA / Test Engineer for Qualification of in- house developed Software / Windows based products. The role is to undertake Manual Software Application Tests together with Test Automation and Software / Hardware interactions. You will create, update and run Test Cases ensuring the Product meets with design specifications in addition to improving the Test processes together with good Documentation and communication skills. Exposure to any of the following is desirable -: SQL, Vmware, Linux, Jira, Agile and Waterfall methods.
Typical Testing will include -:
* Manual Testing of Windows Desktop Apps.
* Risk Based Testing
* Web API Testing
* Regression and Performance Tests
* Use and set-up of Simulation Test Platforms
This role will require someone experienced with this type of testing but having had a good background in IT Support based on Windows Platforms, Installation, Networking (IP Address, DNS, DHCP) and configuration of Hardware peripheral devices. You will have the opportunity to progress your career within a dynamic Test Product Assurance environment.
