Cure Talent is thrilled to partner with a rapidly growing medical technology company behind an award-winning medical device and transformative telehealth platform. We are seeking an experienced Software Test Automation Engineer to join their talented technical team (hybrid working, 6–9 month FTC).
As the successful Software Test Automation Engineer, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the efficiency and reliability of the software delivery process by automating manual testing tasks. This is a pivotal position aimed at accelerating release cycles, reducing time-to-market, and ensuring high-quality software products. Your expertise in test automation, CI/CD, and innovative problem-solving will be key in driving the organisation’s technological edge and maintaining its competitive advantage.
Key Responsibilities:
* Design, build, and enhance scalable test automation frameworks for web and mobile platforms.
* Automate manual test cases to improve testing efficiency and consistency.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify automation opportunities and ensure critical functionalities are covered.
* Develop and maintain scripts using Python and automation tools such as Appium and Robot Framework.
* Ensure seamless integration of automated tests within the CI/CD pipeline.
* Conduct performance, usability, and regression testing using automated approaches.
* Maintain documentation of test automation processes, frameworks, and tools.
What We’re Looking For:
We’re looking for a highly skilled test automation engineer with at least 5 years of commercial experience in automating web and mobile applications. Proficiency in Python or JavaScript, along with hands-on experience with tools like Appium, Robot Framework, or Selenium, is essential. Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, Agile methodologies, and the ability to design and implement scalable test automation frameworks is crucial. Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a self-motivated approach are key for success in this role.
