Test Assurance Manager London (hybrid working) About the Role We're looking for a Non-Functional Test Assurance Manager to work with a major utilities business to ensure their systems meet performance, reliability, and scalability standards. You’ll define NFT strategy, frameworks, and assure Service Providers’ testing. This role requires strong technical expertise and leadership to drive NFT capability. Key Responsibilities: * Define and maintain a Non-Functional Test Strategy aligned with best practices. * Guide NFT transition from waterfall to DevOps & CI/CD. * Assess NFT needs and determine appropriate testing types. * Validate non-functional requirements (NFRs) and ensure testability. * Oversee Service Providers' NFT plans, execution, and remedial actions. * Develop Test Approach Documents and Test Completion Reports for governance approval. * Influence stakeholders and navigate regulatory processes. * Drive continuous improvement across NFT activities. Essential Skills & Experience: * 10+ years in non-functional testing or test assurance roles. * Expertise in performance, load, stress, reliability, BCDR, security testing. * Strong knowledge of tools/frameworks such as Azure DevOps, JMeter, LoadRunner, Selenium, Postman, OpenShift. * Experience with cloud, distributed systems, microservices, DevOps CI/CD. * Proven ability to analyse system performance and recommend optimisations. * Excellent communicator with strong stakeholder management skills. * Proficient in drafting and presenting technical reports. Desirable Skills & Experience: * Experience in regulated industries. * Testing certifications (ISTQB, Performance Tester). * Up-to-date with NFT trends and tools.
