Job Description
Are you an expert Tekla user?
Do you have a strong background in detailing structural steel projects?
Salary: circa £35,000 - £45,000 per annum, depending on experience
Location: Blackburn, minimum 3 days in office per week.
Requirements:
At least 4 years of experience with Tekla software, with a strong portfolio in structural steel projects.
Comprehensive understanding of steel fabrication and workshop practices.
Experience in detailing a wide range of steel structures.
Detail oriented.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Responsibilities:
Produce detailed CAD drawings using Tekla for various steel structures, including bridges, rail infrastructure, and other complex projects.
Manage project tracking to ensure timely delivery and accurate detailing.
Liaise with clients and internal teams to provide innovative and practical design solutions.
Desirable requirements:
Background in the rail sector or experience working on complex infrastructure projects.
Knowledge of UK structural design standards and fabrication regulations.
