The below job description will outline this position of: Technical Writer
Typically, this person is responsible for creating clear, concise, and accurate documentation related to engineering processes, products, and systems. Their work helps engineers, technicians, and end-users understand complex technical concepts.

Duties and responsibilities of the Technical Writer:
• Research, write, edit and proofread complex technical information.
• Write online help files to assist end users.
• Develop and write content for reports, manuals, briefs, proposals, instructions book in both print and electronic formats.
• Work closely with engineers and integrated logistics services to support the creation of training documentation.
• Design and implement style guidelines and standards for both text and visuals to support with the business needs.
• Checking all technical documents to adhere to the company standards, guidelines and recommend improvements.
• Review, revise or edit documents created by others
Qualifications and requirements for the Technical Writer:
• This role is ideal for candidates with a minimum of 2–3 years of experience in technical writing.
• A bachelor’s degree or a minimum of three years of hands-on experience in a relevant field is required.
• Experience within the marine industry is highly desirable.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is essential.
• Strong interpersonal and organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
• Committed to delivering exceptional client service while maintaining the highest quality standards.
