Technical Trainer in Machining
Location: Middlesbrough
Salary: £28,419 - £41,208 per annum
Position Type: Full-time
Think FE are proud to be working with a well respected college in, with a 'Good' OFSTED rating, based in Middlesbrough, who are looking for a Technical Trainer in Machining.
Day to day you will:
Assess and mentor apprentices enrolled in our Machining courses.
Utilise equipment such as CNC machines, lathes, milling machines, and grinders.
Deliver approximately 3 hours of weekly instruction to BTEC students.
Conduct ad-hoc training sessions for partnering companies as needed. What’s on offer:
Salary of up to £41208 per annum depending on experience
Enrolment in the Local Government Pension Scheme.
30 days of annual leave plus bank holidays.
Access to state-of-the-art machinery and equipment in our STEM centre for skill enhancement. Who are we looking for?
Minimum Level 3 qualification in Machining and proving industry experience with Machines such as CNC, lathes, Grinders and Milling.
Possession of A1, V1, or TQ qualifications is advantageous.
Valid driver's license and access to a personal vehicle for apprentice site visits.
Industry professionals are encouraged to apply; comprehensive training is provided and the college will invest in helping you to obtain A1 Assessors Qualification, Teaching qualification (Cert Ed).
You will need to undergo an enhanced DBS check including the child barred list prior to commencing employment. Next Steps:
