Technical Support Engineer
Stroud - Permanent – fulltime (39 Hours). Day Shifts M-F. Salary DOE
Due to growth, my client, a thriving manufacturer in the aerospace sector is looking for a Technical Support engineer, supporting the Technical, Quality and Laboratory Management with both Technical, Administrational and Practical support as required. This position offers an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented professional who thrives on collaboration, technical precision, and making a positive impact on safety and efficiency.
The Role:
· Develop and maintain Process Data Cards for the treatment and paint operations.
· Work closely with the Technical Team to understand and meet customer requirements.
· Ensure accurate maintenance of technical and quality documentation.
· Provide hands-on support to Operations and Laboratory teams in qualifying and monitoring processes and procedures.
· Participate in the auditing of company processes and operating procedures when required.
· Foster a safety-first culture across all activities.
· Actively engage in Continuous Improvement initiatives to drive operational excellence.
The Person:
· Relevant technical qualifications (Science/Chemistry A Leve), IMF Foundation and/OR at least three years’ experience.
· Experience within precision component manufacturing.
· Ability to meet conflicting deadlines in a fast-paced environment, prioritising workload.
· Computer literate - Microsoft Office, Computer-based manufacturing systems and reporting.
· Desirable – Experienced working in an AS9100 environment.
