Job Description

Technical Services Manager Mechanical (NHS) - Worcester. Please call for Salary. Based at a large Acute Hospital in Worcester, you will manage and co-ordinate directly employed labour and sub-contractors in reacting to breakdowns and implementing the PPM Systems, providing technical assurance advice for Mechanical systems. Review and develop the quality of service at an operational level and Control expenditure as delegated by the Contract Manager Positively manage relationships with stakeholders and Trust representatives to enhance perception of service provision You will prepare estimates for new works & lead support as required for projects and you will participate as a member of the Estates Team by achieving Authorised Person (AP) status in a number of disciplines as required and directed by Senior Management Team Responsible for participating in the 'on call' rota as and when required, after suitable training and relevant experience is gained. Competitive Salary plus 5% performance based bonus 25 days annual leave 5% pensions contribution 2x annual salary life cover Parking Permit and Site pass following a DBS check On Call fee of circa £1,250 per annum AP Duties required - Ventilation AP, Medical AP, Pressure Systems AP & Water AP. AP Duties - allowance is paid for each allowance / duty. The client will invest and pay for the courses and then pay the AP allowances throughout the year. 4 x AP's duties = £10,800.
