Role Responsibilities:
* Providing expert technical advice and consultancy to a wide range of industry stakeholders.
* Responding to technical enquiries via helplines, site visits, and formal reports.
* Acting as a technical representative in high-profile industry meetings, regulatory bodies, and government forums.
* Supporting technical groups and committees, including preparing agendas and minutes.
* Promoting member engagement through events, networking, and regional support activities.
* Drafting technical articles and delivering expert content at trade shows and industry events.
Candidate skills & experience:
* 5+ years’ experience in the glass and glazing industry
* Strong knowledge of fenestration glass products, testing processes, technical standards, and relevant regulations.
* Excellent communication skills—both written and verbal—with the ability to explain complex information clearly.
* A proactive, solution-focused mindset with a strong customer-service approach.
* Confidence representing technical interests in public or committee settings.
* Strong ability to use computer systems
