TECHNICAL MANAGER CHESHIRE
SALARY: £Competitive + 25 Days Holiday + Bank Holidays + Laptop + Pension + Bonus
MONDAY - FRIDAY 8AM - 4PM
My client is a high-quality BRC approved converter of printed and plain flexible packaging, in both mono and laminate structures. Our client operates a fast-paced work environment with high standards.
They are currently looking to recruit for a Technical Manager to join their team. The chosen candidate will help support the Operations Manager with any quality related investigations and incidents. Also supporting the Compliance Officer with the management and compliance to the BRC standard.
You will have a sound knowledge in the Flexible Packaging industry or Food Packaging the role will be to support the factory with technical enquires / queries
Responsibilities
To monitor/test/report on all factory trials, either trials for customers, supplier led developments or process improvement trials, ensuring documentation is managed in accordance with their QMS.
Ensure they maintain all data sheets and SoC's from the suppliers, and use this information, along with regular migration testing to update our customer specifications, data sheets and SoC's for all products, identifying any gaps.
Support technical on Food Contact regulations, ensuring we are fully compliant in all areas of the business.
Support the Operations manager in any quality related investigations and incidents.
Support the Compliance Officer with the management and compliance to the BRC standard.
Utilise and Maintain the laboratory equipment to analyse competitor materials and update internal technical specifications.
Regularly meet with existing and new suppliers to ensure they are aware of any new developments for our customers, or our processesThis is an excellent opportunity for a technically minded individual to join a well-established packaging manufacturer and contribute to their ongoing successBefore You Apply
