Are you a Technical Manager thinking about your next opportunity in the food industry? We’re partnering with an established, growing food business who are looking for a Technical Manager to join their senior leadership team and drive technical and quality standards across the site.
About the Role:
As Technical Manager, you’ll be responsible for all technical, quality and food safety standards across the site and maintaining strong relationships with customers. Some of your key responsibilities will include:
* Leading and developing the technical and compliance team, working to promote a food safety focus across the site.
* Overseeing external and internal audits, ensuring successful BRCGS certification.
* Managing the site’s food safety and quality systems, including HACCP and GMP.
* Investigating and resolving customer complaints, implementing effective corrective measures.
* Proactively looking for new and improved ways of working, ensuring the site stays ahead of regulatory changes to maintain compliance.
About You:
You’ll need experience of working in a Technical leadership role and we’re keen to hear from anybody with the following skills and experience:
* Demonstrable experience of developing and coaching technical/quality teams ideally in a chilled, high-risk food manufacturing environment.
* Successfully achieving and maintaining BRCGS certification and strong knowledge of customer codes of practice.
* Strong interpersonal skills, able to collaborate with colleagues across the business to drive improvements.
* Proactive, hands-on approach to leading change and making improvements.
