Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and knowledgeable Technical Estimator to join a leading provider of innovative façade systems. Based in Milton Keynes with the flexibility to work from home up to two days per week, this role is instrumental in delivering precise and comprehensive cost estimates for façade projects, ensuring competitive representation in partner bids. Key Responsibilities for a Technical Estimator Accurately respond to project enquiries and produce quotations within agreed timeframes. Assess project opportunities by collaborating with Lead Management, Project Coordination, and Sales teams, ensuring effective prioritization and capacity planning. Develop detailed material estimates and project solutions tailored to Partner requirements and capabilities. Validate proposals with relevant technical and commercial stakeholders. Maintain and update estimation registers within CPS, providing monthly pipeline and KPI reports. Support new customer onboarding by delivering SchuCal VE support and estimation services. Occasionally attend customer visits alongside the sales team. Key Skills for a Technical Estimator * Minimum of 3 years’ façade industry experience, including aluminium systems. * Proficiency in estimating software such as SchuCal or LogiKal. * Strong analytical, collaborative, and communication skills.
