Job Description
ESSENTIAL** - Experience in care proceedings and or children looked after Rate: £44.50 Umbrella Work Arrangements: Hybrid Interviews: Ongoing. Duration: 3 months (with opportunity for extension)
Key focus: As a Team manager within the CiC you will be required to: 1. Ability to manage a caseload of complex and challenging cases 2. Capability to support the Group manager in maintaining and developing high standards across the team 3. Represent the service in developing key service provision or strategy initiatives 4. Provide coaching and mentoring within the team as well as effective case management and high quality written work _______________________________________________________________________ Successes: We have successfully recruited a number of new workers to our teams and we look forward to welcoming experienced social workers to our remaining vacancies. We have a rapid turnaround on interviews. ___________________________________________________________________________________________________ Support Network: - We have 2 permanent consultant social workers who work closely with all our ASYE’s and social workers within the service - Systemic Practitioners who offer consultations and support to all our staff. - Havering also offer robust support within their HR framework - Each Team is made up of: - 1x TM - 2 x AP to support with complex casework. ___________________________________________________________________________________________________ Working Model: - Hybrid model - Flexible approach involving working from our town hall campus/hubs. - Expectation to work from our town hall campus during your teams duty week, for team meetings and other development days and at managers discretion some ad-hoc days onsite may be needed. - Encouraging face to face working for teams as we know how important this is for social workers and all meetings with children and family take place face to face. ___________________________________________________________________________________________________ Requirements: 1. Social Work England (SWE) registration. 2.
