SEN Teaching Assistant - Bank Staff (Daily Supply, Short-Term)

Salary: £85 - £100 per day

We are currently recruiting for proactive and confident Teaching Assistants to support children with Autism (ASD). Several schools in Lambeth are looking for individuals with experience or a keen willingness to learn how to assist children with additional needs, particularly those with Autism or Special Educational Needs (SEN).
In this role, you'll work with students either on a 1:1 basis or in small groups within a classroom environment. The pupils you support will range from ages 2 to 19 and may have conditions such as Autism, ADHD, PDA, challenging behaviours, and physical/medical disabilities. Your support will extend to the classroom, specialist mentoring sessions, and during break times. Some students may exhibit more distressed behaviours, and training in relevant intervention techniques will be provided.
As part of the child's support team, you'll collaborate closely with the SENCO, senior staff, and external professionals such as therapists, healthcare experts, and potentially CAMHS (Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services).
We are particularly interested in candidates who:
Have a flexible, adaptable approach
Are available for daily temporary work (minimum of 2 days per week)
