The Role:
As a Teaching Assistant/Sports Coach, you will play a vital role in supporting the educational development of students while fostering a love for sports and physical activity. You will work closely with teachers to create an engaging learning environment and assist in the delivery of curriculum-based activities, as well as promoting physical fitness and teamwork through sports coaching.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist teachers in the classroom with lesson preparation and delivery.

Plan and deliver engaging sports activities and coaching sessions.
Promote teamwork, discipline, and sportsmanship among students.
Monitor and evaluate student progress in both academic and physical education settings.
Help maintain a safe and inclusive environment for all students.
Communicate effectively with parents, teachers, and school staff.
Requirements:
Previous experience in a teaching assistant or sports coaching role is desirable.
A passion for education and a commitment to supporting student development.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Relevant qualifications in education or sports coaching (e.g., Level 2 Coaching Qualification, Teaching Assistant qualification).
An enhanced DBS check or willingness to obtain one.
