Job Title: Teaching Assistant SEMH Teaching Assistant Full-time North London Contract: Ongoing   A highly-respected specialist school, based within North London, are looking for an experienced SEMH Teaching Assistant to join their staff on a full-time basis. The Role The role would require you to be confident in supporting pupils with challenging behaviour and be able to set as well as maintain boundaries. The role is to support their Secondary site. In this role you will be supporting various pupils across the school on both a 1 to 1 and small group basis. You will work closely with the teaching and wider staff team to provide support for the students within classes, school activities and specialist and intervention sessions. School This School provides education for up to 82 students aged 5 to 16 who have either been permanently excluded from mainstream school or are on a placement. They are taught in groups of normally no more than seven. There are two sites, the Primary site and Secondary site as well as an additional site for vocational and alternative provision.
