Teaching Assistant – Early Years / Primary – Wandsworth – Long-Term Contract
Are you an experienced Teaching Assistant or a Psychology graduate looking to gain hands-on experience in a school setting? A fantastic primary school in Wandsworth is seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to support students, including those with Special Educational Needs (SEN), on a 1:1 and group basis.
Teaching Assistant – The Role
We are looking for a Teaching Assistant to work in an Early Years or Primary classroom, supporting children with their learning and development. This Teaching Assistant role involves working closely with pupils with SEN, helping them to engage with lessons and reach their full potential. The successful Teaching Assistant will be patient, proactive, and eager to make a difference in the classroom.
Teaching Assistant – Requirements
* Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant in an Early Years or Primary setting OR a Psychology graduate looking to gain experience
* A passion for supporting children’s education and well-being
* Experience working with SEN pupils (preferred but not essential)
* Ability to work 1:1 with pupils and provide group support
