Location: Long Eaton, Derbyshire (NG10)
Pay Rate: £90-£105 per day
Contract Type: Long-term with a permanent position available
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 3:30pm

Long Term Futures are seeking a compassionate and proactive Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming and high-performing secondary school in the Long Eaton area of Derbyshire. Situated in the heart of Long Eaton, the school caters to students aged 11-18 and emphasises academic excellence, personal development and community engagement.
Your Role Will Include:
Delivering tailored 1-1 and small group support to students, particularly those with Special Educational Needs (SEN).
Collaborating with teachers and support staff to adapt lesson plans and learning materials.
Building positive relationships that develop student confidence and engagement with learning.
Helping create an inclusive, respectful and structured learning environment.
Supporting students in maintaining positive behaviours.We're Looking For Someone Who:
Has experience working with young people, ideally in a secondary educational setting.
Is confident supporting students with special educational needs (SEN).
Works well in a team and communicates effectively with students and staff.
