Position: Teaching Assistant
Location: OL7, Greater Manchester
Start Date: ASAP
Hours: 8:00 AM - 3:30 PM, Monday to Friday (30-minute lunch break)
Salary: £95-£100 per day
Reeson Education is looking for a Teaching Assistant to join a fantastic Year 6 class in a welcoming primary school in the OL7 area. This Teaching Assistant role is full-time, long-term, and perfect for someone who is passionate about supporting children in their final year of primary education.

As a Teaching Assistant, you'll be working closely with the class teacher to ensure every child gets the support they need to succeed. Key Responsibilities for the Teaching Assistant:
Support a Year 6 class as a Teaching Assistant, assisting with lessons and classroom activities.
Work 1:1 and in small groups to help pupils with literacy, numeracy, and test preparation.
Assist pupils with engagement, behaviour management, and emotional regulation.
Adapt learning materials to support different learning styles as a Teaching Assistant.
Provide additional classroom support during SATs preparation.
Collaborate with the teacher and SENCO as a Teaching Assistant to ensure all pupils thrive.Requirements for the Teaching Assistant:
Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant, classroom assistant, or working with children is desirable.
A positive, patient, and proactive approach to working with children.
Ability to build strong relationships with pupils and staff as a Teaching Assistant.
